PROPOSALS TO PERFORM MARRIAGES IN KALYANA VEDIKA FREE OF COST

NEW APPLICATION FOR ON-LINE REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGES UNDER PROGRESS

Tirupati, 26 Mar. 16: The temple management Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTDs) is coming out with yet another pro-devotee move by introducing on-line booking of marriages to be performed at Kalyana Vedika in Tirumala, free of cost.

A review of meeting in this regard was held in the chambers of TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao in TTD administrative building at Tirupati on Saturday to discuss the modalities of the Kalyanam Scheme. The EO instructed the officials concerned to come out with an application format both offline and on-line. The EO also instructed the Deputy EO Kalyana Katta Smt Baby Sarojini, who is also in-charge of the Purohithasangam, told her to formulate package guide lines.

PROPOSED PRIVILEGES INCLUDES:

*Pourihitya and Melam will be arranged, free of cost henceforth instead of charging Rs.500 and Rs.300 respectively.

*Marriage registration counter to be opened up in Kalyana Vedika premises

*Vermilion-turmeric packets with Kankanams to be distributed

* Providing seeghra darshan to the newly wed couple and their parents

* providing ten small(free very small) laddus to each couple

* preparation of online application

* publicity through ttd website and SVBC

Meanwhile the marriages in Tirumala were first commenced in 1952 and the system has been streamlined in 2011. So far almost 25thousand marriages took place here. As per the available data, on 2012 on a single day over 260 marriages have been performed on Kalyana Vedika in different time slots.

SPIRITUAL SCHOLARS “TRIO” TO TEACH SUBHAPRADHAM

The renowned spiritual scholars “Trio” Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao, Brahmasri SAMAVEDAM Shanmukha Sharma and young-dynamic seer Sri Paripurnananda Swamy would extend their services during SUBHAPRADHAM summer classes this year.

TTD has been conducting SUBHAPRADHAM summer classes to the students of tenth and inter in ethical values from the past five years. This year with aim to have wider reach, the designated topics in the syllabus would be divided among these scholars, who will deliver their lectures and the same will be recorded by Svbc and telecasted.

Apart from this, the management is contemplating to negotiate with the scholarly persons from Satyasai, I-Focus and other like minded service organisations to offer their support in teaching the moral values to the students.

In his connection, a meeting was held by TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao in his chambers in Tirupati to discuss on SUBHAPRADHAM with Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar, All Projects Special Officer Sri Muktheswara Rao and HDPP Secretary Sri P Ramakrishna in elaborate. Additional FACAO Sri o Balaji was also present.

MILLENNIUM BIRTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF SRI VAISHNAVA GURU SRI RAMANUJACHARYA

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Saturday instructed the officials concerned to come out with a concrete plan on the 1000th Birth Anniversary fete of sri RAMANUJACHARYA.

A review meeting was held in the chambers of EO on the year lon fete which is set to commence on May 10 on RAMANUJACHARYA Jayanthi.

The EO said the year long programmes for the same should be planned including Ratha Yatra to VAISHNAVA Divya Desams spread across the country.

ARCHAKA TRAINING TO FISHERMEN ON MATSYA JAYANTHI IN SVETA

Training to fisher men community, SCs and STs would commence on April 9, on the auspicious day of Matsya Jayanti, said Ttd EO Dr Sambasiva Rao.

Reviewing with SVETA officials Sri Anjaneyulu and Sri Chandrasekhar over the training programme in his chambers he directed them to commence the training programme on priesthood with a perfect syllabus.
