SARVA DARSHAN TO COMMENCE BY 2:30AM ON JAN 1

Tirumala, 30 December 2017:The temple town of Tirumala witnessed unprecedented pilgrim rush for Vaikuntha Ekadasi this year and we have provided all the arrangements to the pilgrims to the best possible extent, said Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

Speaking to media in his camp office in Gokulam rest house on Saturday evening the JEO said elaborate arrangements have been made by TTD in terms of Annaprasadam, water supply etc. But beyond our expectation 40thousand pilgrims gathered in addition than usual rush for ekadasi dwara darshan. The queue lines spread 4km while another 2km in outer ring road. Usually every year, Tirumala witnesses heavy year end rush in December and this year it was coupled with Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi”, he added.

Elaborating further,the JEO said,on Ekadasi 74,012 had darshan while on Dwadawsi so far (till 7pm of December 30) about 75,658 had darshan taking the total to almost 1.50lakhs in two days. With few more hours left for Vaikuntha Dwaram to be closed today, we could be able to provide vaikuntha dwara darshan to 20 thousand more pilgrims and it will be a record sort of darshan during Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi days. Our first priority is always been common pilgrims”, he asserted.

The JEO said, “All the departments have rendered excellent services to the pilgrims in spite of the unexpected pilgrim surge. On behalf of TTD, I also thank Tirupati Urban SP Sri Abhishek Mohanty and his team for their services in manning pilgrim crowd especially in the outer ring road.

Elaborating on New Year arrangements,the JEO said,there is nothing special on January 1. which falls on Monday and it is like any other normal week day. “After the usual Dhanurmasa Kainkaryams which commences with Tiruppavai by 2am on Monday, the Sarva Darshan to common pilgrims will commence by 2.30am and will last upto 5:30am. After Naivedyam break, the VIP break commences by 6am and it is limited to only Protocol VIPs. Again the Sarva Darshan continues without any break. We have also cancelled Divya Darshan tokens, all arjitha sevas till January 1”, he maintained.

జనవరి 1న ఉ|| 2.30 గంటలకు సర్వదర్శనం ప్రారంభం

డిసెంబరు 30, తిరుమల 2017 ; వైకుంఠ ఏకాదశి, ద్వాదశి రోజుల్లో తిరుమలలో విపరీతంగా భక్తుల రద్దీ పెరిగిందని, భక్తులందరికీ మెరుగైన సౌకర్యాలు కల్పించామని టిటిడి తిరుమల జెఈవో శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు తెలిపారు. తిరుమలలోని గోకులం విశ్రాంతిగృహంలో గల క్యాంపు కార్యాలయంలో శనివారం సాయంత్రం జెఈవో మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా జెఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ విశేషంగా విచ్చేసిన భక్తులకు ఎలాంటి అసౌకర్యం కలగకుండా అన్నప్రసాదాలు, తాగునీరు పంపిణీతోపాటు ఇతర వసతులు కల్పించామన్నారు. ఏకాదశి నాడు వైకుంఠద్వార దర్శనానికి తమ అంచనాలకు మించి 40 వేల మంది భక్తులు అదనంగా క్యూలైన్లలో వేచి ఉన్నారని తెలిపారు. క్యూలైన్లు 4 కి.మి మేర విస్తరించాయని, ఔటర్‌ రింగ్‌ రోడ్డులో మరో 2 కి.మీ క్యూ పెరిగిందని వివరించారు. సాధారణంగా తిరుమలలో డిసెంబరులో సంవత్సరాంతపు రద్దీ ఎక్కువగా ఉంటుందని, ఈసారి వైకుంఠ ఏకాదశి, ద్వాదశి పర్వదినాల వల్ల రద్దీ రెండింతలైందని తెలిపారు.

వైకుంఠ ఏకాదశి నాడు 74,012 మంది, ద్వాదశినాడు శనివారం సాయంత్రం 7 గంటల వరకు 75,658 మంది కలిపి రెండు రోజుల్లో దాదాపు 1.50 లక్షల మంది భక్తులు స్వామివారిని దర్శించుకున్నారని జెఈవో తెలిపారు. మరికొన్ని గంటల్లో వైకుంఠ ద్వార దర్శనం ముగియనుందని, ఏకాదశి, ద్వాదశి రోజుల్లో రికార్డు స్థాయిలో 20 వేల మందికి అదనంగా దర్శనం చేయించామని వెల్లడించారు. ఎప్పటికీ సామాన్య భక్తులకే మొదటి ప్రాధాన్యత అని తెలియజేశారు. భక్తుల రద్దీకి తగ్గట్టు టిటిడిలోని అన్ని విభాగాల అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది విశేషంగా సేవలందించారని జెఈవో కొనియాడారు. బయటి క్యూలైన్లను క్రమబద్ధీకరించేందుకు తిరుపతి అర్బన్‌ ఎస్పీ శ్రీ అభిషేక్‌ మహంతి, ఇతర పోలీసు సిబ్బంది బాగా కష్టపడ్డారని వారిని అభినందించారు.

నూతన ఆంగ్ల సంవత్సరం ఏర్పాట్లపై జెఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ జనవరి 1న ఎలాంటి ప్రత్యేక ఏర్పాట్లు లేవన్నారు. జనవరి 1న సోమవారం నాడు వేకువజామున 2 గంటలకు ధనుర్మాస కైంకర్యాలు, తిరుప్పావై అనంతరం 2.30 నుంచి 5.30 గంటల వరకు సర్వదర్శనం ఉంటుందని తెలిపారు. నైవేద్య విరామం అనంతరం ఉదయం 6 గంటల నుంచి పరిమిత సంఖ్యలో ప్రోటోకాల్‌ ప్రముఖులకు బ్రేక్‌ దర్శనం ఉంటుందన్నారు. ఆ తరువాత ఎలాంటి అంతరాయం లేకుండా సర్వదర్శనం కొనసాగుతుందని తెలిపారు. జనవరి 1వ తేదీ వరకు దివ్యదర్శనం టోకెన్లు, ఆర్జితసేవలు రద్దు చేసినట్టు జెఈవో తెలిపారు.
