VANABHOJANAM IS A TRIBUTE TO MOTHER NATURE-TTD CHAIRMAN
Tirumala, Nov 11: One of the important tenets of Hindu Sanatana Dharma is to save and worship mother nature which provides us the shelter, food etc. to lead a life of prosperity and Vanabhojanam is a tribute to the mother nature said TTD Chairman Sri K Bapiraju.
Addressing media persons at Paruveta Mandapam after Managudi Vanabhojanam on Monday, the TTD board chief said, the community dining occupies a special place in the auspicious month of Karthika, where in the people of all sects, ages, genders combine together leaving off their egos and enjoy the community dining.
In his address the TTD EO Sri MG Gopal said, “Only if the nature is good, the living beings will be good. It is the bounden duty of every human being to protect and safeguard the mother nature to lead a prosperous life. Managudi has provided a platform to the young generations to know the embedded values that were taught in our scriptures with this community dining”, he added.
AP Endowments Commissioner Sri N Muktheswara Rao said, Managudi Vanabhojanam has been observed in over 10thousand temples located in AP under the perview of Endowments department.
JEOs Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P Bhaskar and many other officers, over 2000 pilgrims participated in the community dining.
