VARIOUS FOLK ARTFORMS ADD COLOUR TO MOHINI AVATARAM _ మోహినీ అవతార వాహనసేవలో అలరించిన జాతీయ సాంస్కృతిక కళారూపాలు
Tirumala, 16 October 2026: Folk and classical art forms from across India added rare vibrancy to the Mohini Avatara Vahanam on the fifth day of the ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsavams at Tirumala on Friday.
Artistes from eight States, representing 16 troupes and 451 performers, lined the streets of Tirumala, presenting a rich mosaic of India’s folk traditions, music and dance.
The mountain folk dance of Uttarakhand, depicting the toil of hill women in agriculture, drew wide applause.
Karnataka women presented Dholu Kunitha and Telangana’s Gusadi dance by Raj Gond artistes were equally captivating.
Uttar Pradesh artistes presented the graceful Kajri dance, while children from Andhra Pradesh, dressed as Sri Rama, enacted episodes from the Ramayana.
Traditional folk dances of Haryana and spirited drum performances by women’s troupes from Maharashtra and Adoni in Kurnool district added rhythm and energy to the procession.
Students of Sri Venkateswara college of Music and Dance presented Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Garba, artistically capturing the divine charm of the Mohini Avatara.
TTD EO Sri M Ravichandra felicitated four troupes that gave outstanding performances that included Ajit Tyagi’s Garba troupe from Gujarat, P. Nagababu’s Garagalu troupe from Andhra Pradesh, Karanveer Singh’s Kajri troupe from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and S. Swapna’s women’s Dholu Kunitha troupe from Karnataka.
Devotion meets cultural diversity:
The confluence of folk arts from different States transformed the sacred streets of Tirumala into a vibrant canvas of devotion and cultural unity.
For devotees, the procession offered not only a divine darshan but also a memorable glimpse of India’s living artistic heritage.

తిరుమల, అక్టోబరు 16, 2026: తిరుమల శ్రీవారి నవరాత్రి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో ఐదో రోజైన శుక్రవారం ఉదయం శ్రీ మలయప్పస్వామివారి మోహినీ అవతార వాహనసేవలో జాతీయ సాంస్కృతిక కళారూపాలు భక్తులను విశేషంగా ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి. ఎనిమిది రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన 16 కళాబృందాల్లోని 451 మంది కళాకారులు తిరుమాడ వీధుల్లో ప్రదర్శనలు ఇస్తూ భారతీయ కళలు, సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయాల వైభవాన్ని చాటిచెప్పారు.
భారతీయ జానపద కళల వైభవం
ఉత్తరాఖండ్ కళాకారుల పర్వత ప్రాంత మహిళల వ్యవసాయ శ్రమను ప్రతిబింబించే జానపద నృత్యం, కర్ణాటక కళాకారుల మహిళా డొల్లుకుణిత, తెలంగాణ రాజ్ గోండ్ తెగ కళాకారుల గుస్సాడి నృత్యం ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచాయి. ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ కళాకారుల కజరీ నృత్యం, శ్రీరాముడి వేషధారణలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ చిన్నారులు ప్రదర్శించిన రామాయణ ఘట్టాలు భక్తులను అలరించాయి.
హర్యానా కళాకారుల సంప్రదాయ జానపద నృత్యాలు, మహారాష్ట్రతో పాటు కర్నూలు జిల్లా ఆదోనికి చెందిన మహిళా కళాబృందాల డ్రమ్‌ విన్యాసాలు భక్తుల్లో ఉత్సాహాన్ని నింపాయి.
శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర సంగీత, నృత్య కళాశాల విద్యార్థులు భరతనాట్యం, కూచిపూడి, గర్భా నృత్యరూపకాలతో మోహినీ అవతార వైభవాన్ని కళాత్మకంగా ఆవిష్కరించారు.
నాలుగు కళాబృందాలకు ఈవో అభినందనలు
మోహినీ అవతార వాహనసేవలో ప్రతిభ కనబరిచిన నాలుగు కళాబృందాలను టీటీడీ ఈవో శ్రీ ముద్దాడ రవిచంద్ర ప్రత్యేకంగా అభినందించి సన్మానించారు.
గుజరాత్‌కు చెందిన అజిత్ త్యాగి బృందం గర్భా నృత్యం, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌కు చెందిన పి. నాగబాబు బృందం గరగల్లు, ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్‌లోని వారణాసికి చెందిన కరంవీర్ సింగ్ బృందం కజరీ నృత్యం, కర్ణాటకకు చెందిన ఎస్. స్వప్న బృందం మహిళా డొల్లుకుణిత ప్రదర్శనలతో విశేషంగా ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి.

వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల జానపద కళారూపాలు, సంప్రదాయ నృత్యాలు ఒకే వేదికపై ప్రదర్శితమవడంతో తిరుమలలో ఆధ్యాత్మిక వాతావరణం మరింత శోభాయమానమైంది. శ్రీవారి వాహనసేవలో భక్తితో పాటు భారతీయ సంస్కృతి వైవిధ్యాన్ని ఆస్వాదించే అరుదైన అవకాశాన్ని ఈ ప్రదర్శనలు భక్తులకు అందించాయి.
