VEDAS ARE THE IDENTITY OF HINDU SANATANA DHARMA-TIRUMALA PEDDA JIYAR

Tirumala, 27 Feb. 16: The Vedas are inseparable from the Supreme Brahman as they are believed to be the sacred texts originated from none other than Lord of Creation-Lord Brahma and hence they are the identity of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, advocated HH Sri Tirumala Pedda Jeeyar.

Addressing the inaugural session of the six day 27th Veda Agama Shastra Vidwat Sadas in Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham on Saturday. The Pontiff of Tirumala who graced the occasion along with His Junior Pontiff, Tirumala Chinna Jiyar swamy said, Vedas are embodiment of the entire range of knowledge spanning the sacred and the secular. Their significance lies in the fact that the truths and thoughts they contain are eternal.

Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala gave a clarion call to the students of Veda, to learn, teach and do lot of research to invent the secrets which are embedded in these ancient texts for the benefit of the humanity.
Earlier principal Sri KSS Avadhani explained about the importance of the conference. Vedic Varsity VC Sri KE Devanathan and RSVP VC Sri Harekrishna Sathapathi also took part in this vedic sadas.

Over 65 vedic pundits and scholars from across the country, over 340 students from all the vedic institutions present all over the country apart from 650 vedic students of Veda Vignana Peetham, faculty members were also present.
