VENKATESWARA VAIBHAVAM ELEVATES THE UNIVERSAL GLORY OF LORD-TTD BOARD CHIEF

NELLORE, AUGUST 1: Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams, is one of the most important spiritual programmes recently undertaken by TTD with an aim to propagate Sri Venakteswara Bhakti Cult in the society in a big way and which became a huge hit among the masses in short time, said TTD Trust Board Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy.

Addressing the media persons during the press conference here in AC Subba Reddy Auditorium after the release of the Venakteswara Vaibhavotsavam posters, he said, The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is set to perform third phase one of its most popular spiritual programme, Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams in Nellore city from August 8-16. “In order to facilitate a common man to witness the daily rituals that are being performed in the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, sitting right at their native places, TTD has designed a new spiritual programme “Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams” during last year.

Adding further he said, wherever Lord Venkateswara steps in, the programme used to be a big hit not alone in India but overseas also. The recent Srinivasa Kalyanams in US is a standing example. Even the Mayor f Dallas has declared and dedicated the day as Srnivasa Kalyanam Day after the mega religious fete which was witnessed by over ten thousand NRIs”, he asserted.

Earlier Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said TTD has decided to conduct the nine day spiritual fete in A.C.Subba Reddy stadium in Nellore city. “The first phase was performed in the famous Swarnabharathi Auditorium in Vizag from 21st to 29th of July in 2014 while the Second phase of this religious fete was performed in the spacious police parade grounds in Guntur from April 10-18 early this year. Both the events received overwhelming response from denizens of respective places. On August 8, this event commences with Suprabhatam by 6 am.All the rituals starting from Suprabhatam to Ekanta Seva will be performed every day apart from other arjitotsavams during this period. Ttd will also organise Annaprasadam in a big way during this religious fete. We thank local industrialist Sri Prabhakar Reddy for coming forward to conduct the event on his expenses”, he maintained.
