FOLLOWS TEMPLE TRADITON-OFFERS FIRST PRAYERS TO LORD VARAHA

Tirumala, 11 January 2018: After taking the reins of much coveted post of Vice-President of India, Sri M Venkaiah Naidu, during his maiden visit to Tirumala temple, offered peayers to Lord Venkateswara on Thursday.

The Honourable Vice-President, along with his family paid obeisance inside sanctum sanctorum in front of presiding deity.

Earlier, the honurable Vice-President entered Tirumala shrine through Vaikuntham Queue Complex. At Mahadwaram, he was accorded warm welcome with traditional isthikaphal amidst chanting of vedic hymns.

After darshan, he was rendered Vedasirvachanam by vedic pundits in Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju presented the dignitary the sesha vastram, teertha-prasadam and lamination photo of Lord Venkateswara.

FIRST PRAYERS AT VARAHA SWAMY TEMPLE

Following the temple tradition, the honourable Vice President offered first prayers in Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy temple located adjacent to Tirumala temple and later at Swamy Pushkarini.

State Minister Sri Amarnath Reddy, District Collector Sri Pradyumna, CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna, Tirupati Urban SP Sri Abhishek Mohanty were also present.

తిరుమల, జనవరి 11, 2018: ముందుగా గౌ|| ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి వైకుంఠం క్యూ కాంప్లెక్స్‌ ద్వారా శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలోకి ప్రవేశించారు. మహద్వారం వద్ద ఆలయ అధికారులు, అర్చకులు సంప్రదాయబద్ధంగా ఇస్తికఫాల్‌ స్వాగతం పలికారు.

శ్రీవారి దర్శనానంతరం రంగనాయకుల మండపంలో వేదపండితులు వేదాశీర్వచనం చేశారు. రాష్ట్ర మంత్రివర్యులు శ్రీ అమరనాథరెడ్డి, టిటిడి ఈవో శ్రీ అనిల్‌కుమార్‌ సింఘాల్‌, జెఈవో శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు కలిసి శేషవస్త్రం, తీర్థప్రసాదాలు, స్వామివారి చిత్రపటాన్ని గౌ|| ఉపరాష్ట్రపతికి అందించారు.

శ్రీ వరాహస్వామివారికి మొదటగా పూజలు :

తిరుమల క్షేత్ర సంప్రదాయాన్ని పాటిస్తూ గౌ|| ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి మొదటగా స్వామిపుష్కరిణి వద్దగల శ్రీ వరాహస్వామివారిని దర్శించుకుని పూజలు చేశారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో జిల్లా కలెక్టర్‌ శ్రీ ప్రద్యుమ్న, సివిఎస్‌వో శ్రీ ఆకే రవికృష్ణ, తిరుపతి అర్బన్‌ ఎస్పీ శ్రీ అభిషేక్‌ మహంతి ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
