WE HAVE THE BLESSINGS OF ALMIGHTY-YAGA PARYAVEKSHAKA

Amaravathi, 30 January 2019: With the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, the land in the village of Venkatapalem is blessed with good rain on Tuesday making the soil smooth for Halapuja, said Sri Mohana Rangacharyulu, the Yaga Paryavekshaka.

According to this chief supervisor of the entire religious event, six homa gundems were set up in the Yagashala. “Whenever we plan to construct a temple, we cleanse the entire premises and make that area sin free. For this certain rituals are prescribed by Agama Shastras. As per the tenets described by Marichi Maharshi while constructing the temple, we follow the same. We invoke nearly 81 deities including Sri Venkateswara Swamy in the homa gundem located in the middle”, he added.

In our Hindu Sanatana Dharma we begin our rituals with the blessings of Gomata and today we performed Gopuja. This was followed by Bhupuja. We offer prayers to the plough that is earmarked to plough the land for the construction of main temple and this ritual is called Halapuja. All these were observed today. Tomorrow the Bhookarshanam and Beejavapanam will be performed over the hands of Head of the State”, he added.
