WOMENS’ DAY CELEBRATED WITH GAIETY IN TTD

TIRUPATI, MARCH 8:  The 102 International Womens’ Day has been celebrated with gaiety by TTD women employees in Tirupati on Friday.

The world renowned Hindu Dharmic Institute employees over 10thousand strong work force, out of which women employees constitute around 2500. The women’s Day has been observed with ecstacy by women employees of TTD at Mahati Auditorium.

Dr Vengamma, Director of SVIMS, Prof. Ratna Kumari – VC of Sri Padmavathi Mahila Vishwa Vidyalayam, Dr Sudharani-Opthalmologist, Smt Srvanti-Psychologist, Smt Sujatha-Principal SPW Degree and PG College, Smt Varalakhsmi-HOD of Home Science in SPWD college called on the women employees to stand unite to fight against the discrimination in their work palces.

Later the meeting session was followed by cultural programmes by children of women employees which stood as a special attraction. About 75 women employees beloinging to various departments holding various positions including Deputy EO to Fourth Class employees who are going to retire in the current year have been  felicitated.
