Tirupati, 08 March 2024: TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy inaugurated the newly built Harini Hostel Block at Sri Padmavathi Mahila Degree and PG College in Tirupati on Friday.
Later, Chairman and JEO Sri. Veerabrahmam planted saplings in the premises of the new building. They inspected the facilities provided to the students in the rooms of the hostel building.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chairman said that a new building with four floors has been constructed at a cost of Rs.14 crores. With this, 672 female students in 112 rooms have got the facility of additional accommodation, he said.
The building has 5 study rooms, a recreation hall, 105 bathrooms and 105 toilets. He said that a total of 2800 female students are studying in the college, and with the construction of the new building, a total of 1850 students will be accommodated in the hostel.
He said that efforts will be made to provide hostel accommodation to all the students studying in TTD educational institutions.
Apart from textbooks, students should also read other books for acquiring knowledge and said that one good book is equal to a hundred friends. He said that his knowledge of the subject increased only by reading the books. Lifetime can be comfortable if the student’s time is utilized completely.

తిరుప‌తి, 2024, మార్చి 08: తిరుప‌తిలోని శ్రీ ప‌ద్మావ‌తి మ‌హిళా డిగ్రీ, పిజి క‌ళాశాల‌లో ఉన్న హ‌రిణి హాస్ట‌ల్ బ్లాకులో అద‌నంగా నిర్మించిన భ‌వ‌నాన్ని శుక్ర‌వారం టీటీడీ ధ‌ర్మ‌క‌ర్త‌ల మండ‌లి అధ్య‌క్షులు శ్రీ భూమ‌న క‌రుణాక‌ర‌రెడ్డి ప్రారంభించారు. మందుగా అర్చ‌కులు నూత‌న భ‌వ‌నం వ‌ద్ద పూజా కార్య‌క్ర‌మాలు నిర్వ‌హించారు. అనంత‌రం నూత‌న భ‌వ‌నం ప్రాంగ‌ణంలో ఛైర్మ‌న్, జేఈవో శ్రీ వీర‌బ్ర‌హ్మం క‌లిసి మొక్క‌లు నాటారు. హాస్ట‌ల్ భ‌వ‌నంలోని గ‌దుల్లో విద్యార్థినుల‌కు క‌ల్పించిన వ‌స‌తులను ప‌రిశీలించారు.
ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా ఛైర్మ‌న్ మాట్లాడుతూ రూ.14 కోట్ల వ్య‌యంతో నాలుగు ఫ్లోర్ల‌తో నూత‌న భ‌వ‌నం నిర్మించిన‌ట్టు తెలిపారు. దీంతో మొత్తం 112 గ‌దుల్లో 672 మంది విద్యార్థినుల‌కు అద‌నంగా బ‌స క‌ల్పించే వెసులుబాటు క‌లిగింద‌ని చెప్పారు. ఇందులో 5 స్డ‌డీ రూమ్‌లు, రిక్రియేష‌న్ హాలు, 105 స్నాన‌పు గ‌దులు, 105 మ‌రుగుదొడ్లు ఉన్నాయ‌న్నారు. క‌ళాశాల‌లో మొత్తం 2800 మంది విద్యార్థినులు చ‌దువుకుంటున్నార‌ని, నూత‌న భ‌వ‌నం నిర్మాణంతో మొత్తం 1850 మందికి హాస్ట‌ల్ వ‌స‌తి స‌మ‌కూరింద‌ని చెప్పారు. టీటీడీ విద్యాసంస్థ‌ల్లో చ‌దువుకునే విద్యార్థులంద‌రికీ హాస్ట‌ల్ వ‌స‌తి క‌ల్పించేందుకు కృషి చేస్తామ‌న్నారు. విద్యార్థులు పాఠ్య‌పుస్త‌కాల‌తో పాటు జ్ఞాన‌స‌ముపార్జ‌న కోసం ఇత‌ర పుస్త‌కాలను కూడా చ‌ద‌వాల‌న్నారు. ఒక మంచి పుస్త‌కం వంద మంది స్నేహితుల‌తో స‌మాన‌మ‌ని చెప్పారు. పుస్త‌క ప‌ఠనం ద్వారానే త‌న‌కు విష‌య ప‌రిజ్ఞానం పెరిగింద‌న్నారు. విద్యార్థి ద‌శ‌లో స‌మ‌యాన్ని పూర్తిగా స‌ద్వినియోగం చేసుకుంటే జీవిత‌కాలం సౌక‌ర్య‌వంతంగా ఉండొచ్చ‌న్నారు.
