24×7 TTD CALL CENTRE SERVICES REJUVINATED

Tirupati, 4 July 2016: A 24×7 call centre is the latest public communication initiative of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to facilitate the vast throng of devotees that the hill shrine of Tirumala throughout the day.

Besides the land lines, toll free numbers, Whatsapp and also email ids, the call center provided up to date information on availability of darshan tickets, arjita sevas, accommodation at Tirupati and Tirumala to devotees. It also provided information on various programs, schemes and trust activities of TTD so that devotees from across the world could become stake holders and partners in the socio-econoic and devotee centric activities of the TTD.

On top of it the devotees could also be in touch with call centre to provide information and also bring it to notice of the officials on the lapses, misgivings and malpractices, if any in the TTD system so that corrective steps could be immediately taken to avert such things happening in future.

TTD has also set up information kiosks at both Tirumala and Tirupati to guide the pilgrims and also provide them information on darshan timings, changes in sevas, cost, availability of rooms, laddus and also tickets.

The call centre staffed by well informed staff would also provide information on events, festivals and also specific happenings like exhibitions, decorations, lighting up of Tirumala temple etc.
