AADHAAR MUST FOR ROOM BOOKING-TTD EO

Tirumala, 25 Oct. 16: Making Aadhaar mandate for room booking in Tirumala, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said, the decision of TTD to cancel collection of caution deposits for booking of rooms in Tirumala has come into effect from Monday onwards, for the benefit of pilgrims.

The EO reviewed with the reception wing officials in Tirumala Annamaiah Bhavan on Tuesday. He said, if in the case, a devotee doesn’t have the Aadhaar, he should submit any ID proof along with the phone number. “The IT wing should develop the application on this lines”, he instructed the IT department officials.

He instructed the engineering wing to set up the display boards regarding the cancellation of caution deposits for all range of rooms in Tirumala for the information of the public.

EO INSPECTS PAC IV

Later the EO inspected the luggage counter in Tirumala and interacted with the pilgrims about the available amenities. He instructed the vigilance officials to improve the facilities to further extent.

The EO directed the TTD PRO Dr T Ravi to open up the sale of 2017 calendars and diaries in all the TTD information counters in Tirumala with immediate effect.
