TIRUMALA, 22 September 2015: As a part of the on going Navahnika Varshika Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara, the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) is all set for the gigantic wooden chariot pulling festival on Wednesday.

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao held a review meeting with the officials in Common Command Centre on Tuesday noon, in connection with this important religious fete which falls on the penultimate day of annual Brahmotsavams.
The EO instructed the Engineering officials to check the hydraulic brakes for the mammoth 50-feet chariot and also its wheels and mega ropes for pulling the wooden cart. “Also keep strict vigilance in the red rope area, in the front portion of the chariot and also besides wheels and do not anybody as it is a very delicate area to handle”, he directed the Vigilance officials.

Later he instructed the CMO Dr N Vikas to keep ready expert doctors in Ortho and Trauma care in the ambulance vehicle which will be following the chariot.

The EO also reviewed on the final day event of Chakrasnanam and the designing of various Entry-Exit points into Swami Pushkarini.

Later he inspected four mada streets along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju & Urban SP Sri Gopinath Jatti, CVSO Sri G Nagendra Kumar.

CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy, Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, Additional SP Sri Swamy, Health Officer Dr Sermishta were also present
