ANDAL TIRUPPAVAI TO REPLACE SUPRABHATAM FROM DEC 17_ డిసెంబరు 17 నుండి జనవరి 14వతేదీ వరకు శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో సుప్రభాతం స్థానంలో ఆండాళ్‌ తిరుప్పావై పారాయణం

Tirumala, 4 December 2017: With the advent of auspicious Dhanurmasam which will commence by 11:13am on December 16, the Suprabhata Seva will be replaced by Andal Tiruppavai Parayanam in Tirumala temple from December 17 on wards and concludes on January 14 in 2018. For a period of one month, Andal Tiruppavai Pasurams will be recited during early hours in Tirumala temple.

AUSPICIOUS MONTH IN SOLAR CALENDAR:

According to legendary, the deities wake up early in the morning during this holy month of Dhanurmasa and perform special prayers to Sri Maha Vishnu during the auspicious period of “Brahm Muhurta”, which is one and half hours before sunrise. Hence this month is considered to be most pious in Solar Calendar.

”MAASANAM MARGAHIRSHOHAM”:

‘Maasanam Margashirshoham’…meaning ‘I am the Margashira among the months’-Lord Himself utters these words which depicts the importance of the month. Dhanurmasa is also called as Shoonya Masa because it is generally advised not to conduct any thing other than godly and holy functions. This is just to focus on God and not on any other materialistic pleasures.

A DAY OF WORSHIP IS EQUAL TO 1000 YEARS PENANCE IN DHANURMASA:

Worshiping Lord Vishnu who is believed to be none other than Lord Venkateswara in Kaliyuga, on a single day during this auspicious period is equal to worshiping Vishnu with devotion for 1000 years. Keeping the legacy forward, during this month, devotees offer prayers to the Lord early in the morning.

RECITAL OF ANDAL TIRUPPAVAI:

Andal Sri Goda Devi is considered to be one among the 12 Alwars. The Tiruppavai is a collection of thirty stanzas (paasurams) written by Andal also known as Nachiyar, in praise of the Lord Sri Venkateswara. It is a part of Alwar Divya Prabandha and is important in Tamil literature.

DHANURMASA VRATAM:

Andal Sri Goda Devi, one among the 12 Alwars, performed a wonderful vratham called Dhanurmasa vratham to tell us that, by practicing this vratham, one can attain the eternal bliss. The period,when the sun moves into the constellation of Dhanurrasi or Sagittarius and until it moves out to the constellation of Makara or Capricorn is known as Dhanurmasam. This month is said to be holiest for observing penance, worship, vratas and other spiritual programmes etc. to attain salvation.

VAIKUNTHA EKADASI OBSERVED:

During this holy month of Dhanurmasam, the most auspicious festival, Vaikuntha Ekadasi will be observed. In Tirumala it is only during this occasion and on the immediate day, Vaikuntha Dwadasi, the Vaikuntha Dwaram remains opened.

తిరుమల 04, డిసెంబరు, 2017: తిరుమల శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వరస్వామి మాసోత్సవాల్లో అత్యంత ముఖ్యమైనదిగా భావించే ధనుర్మాసం ఈ నెల 16వ తారీఖున ప్రారంభం కానుంది. ఆనాటి ఉదయం 11.13 గంటలకు ధనుర్మాస ఘడియలు ప్రారంభం కానున్న నేపథ్యంలో డిసెంబరు 17వ తారీఖు నుండి స్వామివారికి నిర్వహించే సుప్రభాత సేవ స్థానంలో తిరుప్పావై నివేదిస్తారు. కాగా ధనుర్మాస ఘడియలు 2018, జనవరి 14వ తారీఖున ముగియనున్నాయి.

ధనుర్మాసానికి విశేష ప్రాధాన్యం :

పురాణాల ప్రకారం ధనుర్మాసంలో దేవతలు సూర్యోదయానికి ఒకటిన్నర గంట ముందుగా నిద్రలేచి బ్రహ్మ ముహూర్తంలో శ్రీమహావిష్ణువును ప్రత్యేకంగా ప్రార్థిస్తారు. కావున ఈ మాసానికి సౌరమానంలో ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్యం ఉంది.

మాసనం మార్గశీర్షోహం :

మాసనం మార్గశీర్షోహం…. అనగా తాను మాసాల్లో ఉత్తమమైన మార్గశిర మాసం లాంటివాడినని శ్రీమహావిష్ణువు స్వయంగా చెప్పాడు. ధనుర్మాసాన్ని శూన్యమాసం అని కూడా పిలుస్తారు. ఈ మాసంలో భగవంతునికి సంబంధించిన కార్యక్రమాలు తప్ప ఇతర కార్యక్రమాలు సాధారణంగా చేయరు. పూర్తిగా దైవంపైనే శ్రద్ధ వహించి ప్రార్థించాలన్నదే ఇందులో అంతరార్థం.

ధనుర్మాస పూజ వెయ్యేళ్ల ఫలం :

కలియుగంలో శ్రీమహావిష్ణువు అవతారమైన శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వరుని ధనుర్మాసంలో ఒకరోజు పూజించినా వెయ్యేళ్ల పూజాఫలం దక్కుతుంది. పూర్వీకుల వారసత్వాన్ని కొనసాగిస్తూ భక్తులు ఈ మాసంలో బ్రహ్మ ముహూర్తంలో ధనుర్మాస పూజలు చేస్తారు.

ఆండాళ్‌ తిరుప్పావై పారాయణం :

12 మంది ఆళ్వార్లలో శ్రీ ఆండాళ్‌(గోదాదేవి) ఒకరు. ఈమెను నాచియార్‌ అని కూడా పిలుస్తారు. శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారిని స్తుతిస్తూ ఆండాళ్‌ రచించిన 30 పాశురాలను కలిపి తిరుప్పావై అంటారు. ఆళ్వార్‌ దివ్యప్రబంధంలో తిరుప్పావై ఒక భాగం. తమిళ సాహిత్యంలో దీనికి విశేష ప్రాచుర్యం ఉంది. శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో నెల రోజులపాటు జరిగే తిరుప్పావై పారాయణంలో రోజుకు ఒకటి వంతున అర్చకులు నివేదిస్తారు. ఈ సందర్భంలో సాధారణంగా భోగశ్రీనివాసమూర్తికి బదులుగా శ్రీకృష్ణస్వామివారికి ఏకాంతసేవ నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఈ తిరుప్పావై పఠనం పూర్తిగా ఏకాంతంగా జరుగుతుంది.

ధనుర్మాస వ్రతం :

శ్రీ గోదాదేవి ధనుర్మాస వ్రతాన్ని ఆచరించి చూపారు. ఈ వ్రతాన్ని ఆచరిస్తే సుఖసంతోషాలు ఒనగూరుతాయని తెలియజేశారు. సూర్యుడు ధనస్సు రాశి నుంచి మకర రాశిలోకి ప్రవేశించేందుకు మధ్యగల కాలాన్ని ధనుర్మాసం అంటారు. పాపకర్మలను నశింపచేసి మోక్షసాధనకోసం చేసే వ్రతాలు, పూజలు, ఇతర ధార్మిక కార్యక్రమాలకు ఈ మాసం అనువైనదిగా భావిస్తారు.

వైకుంఠ ఏకాదశి :

ఈ మాసంలోనే వైకుంఠ ఏకాదశి, ద్వాదశి పర్వదినాలలో శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలోని వైకుంఠ ద్వారాలను తెరచి ఉంచుతారు. ఈ రెండు పర్వదినాలలో పరమ పవిత్రమైన వైకుంఠ వాకిలి ద్వారా భక్తులు శ్రీవారిని దర్శించుకుంటారు.
