Tirumala, 15 October 2018: The Hill Shrine at Tirumala which is popular for housing world’s richest and most sought after Hindu deity, of Sri Venkateswara Swamy is now getting accolades for architectural treasure.
Thanks to the idea of Executive Officer of TTD Sri Anil Kumar Singhal who rediscovered the sculptural marvel of Tirumala temple.
Under his instructions, the metallic and glass door frames which were fixed at the entrance of Ranganayakula mandapam, Aina Mahal and Yagashala(parakamani hall 1) were now removed and left open for public to embrace the architecture.
SCULPTURAL BEAUTY DEFINED
The pilgrims while crossing Padi kavali for darshan of Lord, are now able to witness the beauty of the ancient sculptural work of Ranganayakula mandapam and Aina mahal as well. After darshan of Lord, while circumambulation, they are widely cherishing the beautiful images of various deities, mythological themes carved with finesse on the pillars of Yagashala.
DEVOTEES CHERISH
Sri Tambidurai from Mayavaram of Tamilnadu expressed his pleasure of having enjoyed the sculpturing on the walls of Yagashala. “I have been coming for darshan from the past many years. We used to see the Parakamani counting through glass doors. Now with the removal of the glass walls, I could see the beautiful images of Trivikraman, Kalki, Yali etc. finely engraved on the walls of this mandapam.
A fine arts student, Ms.Mythili from Mysore said, My grandmother used to tell me that the Unjal Seve of Tummala(Lord Venkateswara) used to be performed in this Yagashala in those days. Today I saw it personally and was thrilled. The iron hangings of the mandapam in yagashala are seen even today. Thanks to TTD for having rediscovered the architectural marvel of Tirumala temple”, she said with excitement.
HERBAL CLEANING
To enhance the beauty of the rare architecture that was being engraved on the walls of various mandapams and for its longeivity in Tirumala temple, a team of experts from Tamilnadu have also done herbal cleaning recently.
The beauty of the sculptures glorified with the architectural lights placed at Ranganayakula mandapam on a trial basis during September brahmotsavams.
The great works of Sanjeevinidjara, Gokula Krishna, Trimukha Brahma on Swan, Yoga Narasimha etc. speaks tons about the sculptural wonders of Tirumala temple.

అక్టోబ‌రు 15, తిరుమల 2018: చ‌క్క‌టి శిల్ప‌క‌ళ శ్రీవారి ఆల‌యం సొంతం. ఆల‌యంలోని ప‌లు మండ‌పాల్లో ద‌శావ‌తారాల‌కు సంబంధించిన ప‌లు దేవ‌తామూర్తుల శిల్పాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఈ శిల్పాల‌ను భ‌క్తులు తిల‌కించి త‌రించేలా టిటిడి ఇటీవ‌ల ఏర్పాట్లు చేప‌ట్టింది. ఈ శిల్ప క‌ళ‌ను ద‌ర్శిస్తున్న భ‌క్తులు త‌న్మ‌య‌త్వానికి లోన‌వుతున్నారు.
టిటిడి ఈవో శ్రీ అనిల్‌కుమార్‌ సింఘాల్ ఆలోచ‌న మేరకు ఆలయంలో శిల్పాలు మరింత బాగా కనిపించేలా ఏర్పాట్లు చేప‌ట్టారు. ముందుగా రంగనాయకుల మండపంలో శిల్పాలు మరింత ఆకర్షణీయంగా కనిపించేలా ప్ర‌త్యేకమైన లైట్లతో అలంకరించారు. ఎంఎల్‌సి శ్రీ మాగుంట శ్రీనివాసులురెడ్డి విరాళంతో శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో ఈ లైటింగ్‌ వ్యవస్థను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. సెప్టెంబ‌రులో జ‌రిగిన శ్రీవారి వార్షిక బ్ర‌హ్మోత్స‌వాల్లో ఈ శిల్పాల విద్యుత్ అలంక‌ర‌ణ ప‌నుల‌ను ప్ర‌యోగాత్మ‌కంగా ప‌రిశీలించారు. న‌వ‌రాత్రి బ్ర‌హ్మోత్స‌వాల‌కు ఈ ప‌నుల‌ను పూర్తిస్థాయిలో చేప‌ట్టారు. పురాత‌న శిల్ప‌క‌ళ మరింత ఆకర్షణీయంగా ఉండేందుకు ఇటీవ‌ల త‌మిళ‌నాడుకు చెందిన నిపుణుల బృందంతో హెర్బ‌ల్ క్లీనింగ్‌(ఔష‌ధీ శుద్ధి) చేశారు.
రంగనాయకుల మండపంలో సింహం ఆకృతిలో యాళి, మోహిని, వ‌ట‌ప‌త్ర‌శాయి, తాండ‌వ‌కృష్ణ, సంజీవ‌నితో హ‌నుమంతుడు, ల‌క్ష్మీనారాయ‌ణుడు, త్రిముఖ బ్ర‌హ్మ, స‌ర‌స్వ‌తి దేవి, యోగ‌న‌ర‌సింహుని శిల్పాలున్నాయి. ఇదిలా ఉండ‌గా యాగ‌శాల అద్భుత‌మైన శిల్పాల‌తో అల‌రారుతోంది. ఇక్క‌డ గ‌ల ప్ర‌త్యేక మండపంలో పూర్వ‌పు రోజుల్లో ఊంజ‌ల్ సేవ చేసిన‌ట్టు కొక్కెం గుర్తులు ఉన్నాయి. యాగ‌శాల‌లో క‌ల్కి, త్రివిక్ర‌ముడు – వామ‌నావ‌తారం, కిష్కింద‌కాండ, దాన‌వుల శిల్పాలు ఆక‌ట్టుకుంటున్నాయి. ప్ర‌త్యేక ఊంజ‌ల్ మండపంలో శ్రీ స‌త్య‌భామ, రుక్మిణి స‌మేత శ్రీకృష్ణ‌స్వామి, శ్రీ స‌త్య‌భామ, రుక్మిణి స‌మేత శ్రీ వేణుగోపాల‌స్వామివారి శిల్పాలు ఉన్నాయి. యాగ‌శాల‌లో ఊంజ‌ల్ మండ‌పం ఎదురుగా గ‌ల మ‌రో మండపంలో శ్రీ గోవింద‌రాజ‌స్వామి, శ్రీ సీతారాములు, వాలి సుగ్రీవుల యుద్ధం, గ‌రుడ శిల్పాలు కొలువున్నాయి. అద్దాల మండపంలో య‌శోధ కృష్ణుడు, గ‌రుడ ఇత‌ర దేవ‌తామూర్తుల శిల్పాలున్నాయి.
మ‌ధురానుభూతికి లోన‌వుతున్న భ‌క్తులు
యాగ‌శాల‌లోని శిల్ప‌క‌ళ‌ను చూసి చాలా ఆనందం క‌లిగింద‌ని త‌మిళ‌నాడులోని మాయావ‌రానికి చెందిన శ్రీ తంబిదైరై అనే భ‌క్తుడు తెలిపారు. కొన్ని సంవ‌త్స‌రాలుగా ద‌ర్శ‌నానికి వ‌స్తున్నాన‌ని, ఇక్క‌డ గాజు అద్దాల్లో ప‌ర‌కామ‌ణి లెక్కించేవార‌ని చెప్పారు. అద్దాల‌ను తొల‌గించ‌డం వ‌ల్ల మండ‌పంలోని గోడ‌ల‌పై త్రివిక్ర‌ముడు, క‌ల్కి, యాళి త‌దిత‌ర దేవ‌తామూర్తుల చ‌క్క‌టి శిల్పాల‌ను చూడ‌గ‌లుగుతున్నాన‌ని వివ‌రించారు.
అదేవిధంగా మైసూరుకు చెందిన ఫైన్ ఆర్ట్స్ విద్యార్థిని మైథిలి మాట్లాడుతూ గ‌తంలో ఊంజ‌ల్‌సేవ ఇక్క‌డి యాగ‌శాల‌లోని మండపంలో జ‌రిగేద‌ని త‌న నాన‌మ్మ చెప్పేద‌న్నారు. ఇప్ప‌టికీ ఇక్క‌డ ఇనుప కొక్కెం ఉండ‌డాన్ని గ‌మ‌నించాన‌ని, చాలా ఆస‌క్తిగా ఉంద‌ని చెప్పారు. శ్రీవారి ఆల‌య పురాత‌న శిల్ప సంప‌ద‌ను చూసే అవ‌కాశం క‌ల్పించినందుకు టిటిడికి తెలియ‌జేస్తున్నాన‌న్నారు.
