Tirupati, 7 July 2018: To make the Balaji Institute of Research, Rehabilitation and Surgery for the Disabled (BIRRD) financially self reliant, its charitable activities need to be promoted and propagated among the donors in a big way, strongly opined, TTD Trust Board and the BIRRD Trust Board Committee Chariperson Sri P Sudhakar Yadav.
A review meeting on the activities of BIRRD was held in the hospital conference hall on Saturday evening. The committee discussed in detail on the various activities of BIRRD including the treatment, artificial limb making system, services, tender floating process, service rules and other business rules that are being followed in the Hospital.
The Chairman said, BIRRD happens to be Asia’s biggest Ortho care centre, treating the needy free of cost in the case of BPL and at minimal charges for APL. The hospital has to become self-reliant and for this wide publicity is needed. The donors who are contributing to other trusts should be enlightened on BIRRD activities also”, he added.
He said, at present 10 patients are undergoing treatment under the NTR Vaidya Seva services and will be enhanced further. The board will also look in to the proposal of treating patients who are getting admitted under Telengana Arogyasri Scheme in the ensuing board meeting, he added.
Members including TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Sri S Venkata Veeraiah, Sri C Ramachandra Reddy, FACAO Sri O Balaji, CAO Sri Raviprasadudu were also present.
Later the TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal directed the Director BIRRD Dr G Jagdeesh to come out with specific services rules,

తిరుపతి, 2018 జూలై 07: ఎక్కువమంది పేద రోగులకు మరింత మెరుగైన వైద్యసేవలందించేందుకు వీలుగా బర్డ్‌ ట్రస్టు స్వయం సమృద్ధి సాధించేందుకు విరివిగా విరాళాలందించాలని టిటిడి ధర్మకర్తల మండలి అధ్యక్షులు శ్రీ పుట్టా సుధాకర్‌ యాదవ్‌ దాతలకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. తిరుపతిలోని బర్డ్‌ ఆసుపత్రిలో శనివారం ట్రస్టు పాలకమండలి సమావేశం జరిగింది.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ట్రస్టు పాలకమండలి అధ్యక్షుడు, టిటిడి ఛైర్మన్‌ శ్రీ పుట్టా సుధాకర్‌యాదవ్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ బర్డ్‌ ఆసుపత్రిలో ఎన్‌టిఆర్‌ వైద్యసేవ పథకాన్ని మరింత విస్తృతం చేస్తామన్నారు. అదేవిధంగా, అదనంగా 50 పడకలను అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావడం, శ్రీపద్మావతి వైద్య కళాశాల ఆర్థోపెడిక్‌ విభాగానికి గాను 90 పడకల ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణం, ఈ-టెండర్ల ద్వారా మందులు కొనుగోలు, తెలంగాణ ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ పథకం ద్వారా వచ్చే రోగులకు వైద్యసేవలంచడం తదితర అంశాలపై సమావేశంలో చర్చించారు. వీటిపై రానున్న టిటిడి ధర్మకర్తల మండలి సమావేశంలో తుది నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటారు.
అనంతరం రోగులకు అందిస్తున్న వైద్యసేవలను, అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలను బర్డ్‌ డైరెక్టర్‌ డా|| జగదీష్‌ను అడిగి ఛైర్మన్‌ తెలుసుకున్నారు. శస్త్రచికిత్సల కోసం రోగులు వేచి ఉండే సమయాన్ని తగ్గించాలని సూచించారు. రోగులకు మరింత మెరుగైన సేవలు అందించాలని వైద్యులను ఆదేశించారు.
