GRAND CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATIONS AT SRAVANAM_ శ్రవణంలో ఘనంగా బాలల దినోత్సవం
Tirupati, 14 November 2017: Fancy dress contests, games, drawing completions marked the grand Children’s Day celebrations at the Shravanam Centre set up by the TTD for treatment to hearing and voice impaired children.
Speaking on the ocassion Chief guest of the vent CVSO Sri Ake Ravi Krishna said the birth anniversary of first PM Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru was celebrated as Children’s Day as he loved children dearly. Children should be given necessary support and opportunity to serve the country and hailed the contribution of freedom fighters who strived for the betterment of future generations.
He said the TTD would strive to bring laurels and nation wide recognition for the Shravanam program which is unique and a milestone in children’s welfare initiatives.
Earlier he garlanded the portrait of Pundit Nehru with floral tributes and also gave away prizes to the children who excelled in the competitions and contests held as part of the Children’s Day programs.The fancy dress by children as freedom fighters ,Gods and Goddesses,and martyrs earned kudos from all around.
Among others TTD CMO Dr. Nageswar Rao, Shravanam Project teacher Smt K V Sudha,Smt Rajeswari and students etc participated in the event.

శ్రవణంలో ఘనంగా బాలల దినోత్సవం
నవంబరు 14, తిరుపతి, 2017: టిటిడి ఆధ్వర్యంలోని శ్రవణం కేంద్రంలో మంగళవారం బాలల దినోత్సవాన్ని ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఫ్యాన్సీడ్రెస్‌, ఆటలు, చిత్రలేఖనం పోటీల్లో ప్రతిభ కనబరిచిన చిన్నారులకు బహుమతులు అందజేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా విచ్చేసిన టిటిడి సివిఎస్‌వో శ్రీ ఆకే రవికృష్ణ మాట్లాడుతూ దేశ మొదటి ప్రధాని పండిట్‌ జవహర్‌లాల్‌ నెహ్రూకు చిన్నపిల్లలంటే ఎంతో ఇష్టమని, ఆయన జయంతిని బాలల దినోత్సవంగా జరుపుకుంటున్నామని తెలిపారు. దేశం కోసం మంచి చేసే అవకాశం చిన్నారులకు రావాలని కోరారు. దేశం కోసం పోరాడిన వీరుల త్యాగాలను ఈ సందర్భంగా గుర్తు చేశారు. శ్రవణం ప్రాజెక్టుకు మరింత గుర్తింపు తీసుకొచ్చేందుకు తమ వంతు సహకారం అందిస్తామన్నారు.
ముందుగా నెహ్రూ చిత్రపటానికి పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా వివిధ దేవతామూర్తులు, జాతీయనాయకులు, అమరవీరుల వేషధారణలో శ్రవణం చిన్నారులు ఆకట్టుకున్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టిటిడి సిఎంవో డా|| నాగేశ్వరరావు, శ్రవణం ప్రాజెక్టు ఉపాధ్యాయులు శ్రీమతి కెవి.సుధ, శ్రీమతి రాజేశ్వరి, ఇతర ఉపాధ్యాయులు, సిబ్బంది, చిన్నారుల తల్లిదండ్రులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
