LORD KRISHNA ACCOMPANIES “MOHINI”

Tirumala, 27 September 2017: On the fifth day morning on Wednesday, Lord Malayappa Swamy mesmerised the devotees in His “Mohini” avatar in the tastefully decked palanquin accompanied by Lord Sri Krishna on another Tiruchi.

UNIQUE VAHANA SEVA:

While all the other Vahana Sevas were carried by some divine flora and fauna as vehicles start from Vahana Mandapam, here the Lord pulls out Himself gracefully on a colourfully decorated palanquin, bejewelled, well dressed sporting a parrot in one hand, sitting majestically, charming devotees which commences from Srivari temple. He was accompanied by Lord Sri Krishna on another Carrier.

SIGNIFICANCE: According to legends, Lord’s appearance as bejeweled and charming Mohini throws the demons (Asura) in confusion and wins the celestial battle in favor of the deities (devata). The objective of the Mohini avatar is also to indicate that the entire universe is spell bound under the Mystic Moha and that the Lord of Tirumala is the king pin and key architect of this high drama in the universe. He informs the devotees to come out of this “Maya” and lead a righteous, spiritual life. In other words, through Mohini Avatara, the lord enlightens his devotees not to fall prey to worldly desires and come out of that “Maya”.

సెప్టెంబర్‌ 27, తిరుమల 2017: శ్రీవారి సాలకట్ల బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా ఐదవ రోజైన బుధవారం ఉదయం శ్రీహరి మోహినీ రూపంలో శృంగార రసాధి దేవతగా సర్వాలంకార భూషితుడై భక్తులకు దర్శనమిచ్చాడు. పక్కనే శ్రీకృష్ణుడు అలంకృతుడై మరో పల్లకిలో భక్తులకు అభయమిచ్చాడు. ఏనుగులు, అశ్వాలు ఠీవిగా ముందు కదులుతుండగా భక్తుల కోలాటాలు, డ్రమ్స్‌ వాయిద్యాలు, ఇతర కళాప్రదర్శనల నడుమ ఊరేగింపు అత్యంత రమణీయంగా జరిగింది.

ఈ అవతారం ద్వారా జగత్తు అంతా మాయామోహానికి లొంగివుందని, అదంతా తన లీలా విలాసమేనని, తన భక్తులు కానివారు ఈ జగన్మాయలోలులు కాక తప్పదని స్వామివారు చాటి చెబుతున్నారు.

అనంతరం సాయంత్రం 4.30 నుంచి 5.30 గంటల వరకు ఊంజల్‌సేవ వైభవంగా జరిగింది. రాత్రి 7.30 నుంచి రాత్రి 1.00 గంట వరకు గరుడవాహనంపై స్వామివారు భక్తులను కటాక్షించనున్నారు.

జగన్నాటక సూత్రధారియైన శ్రీమలయప్పస్వామివారు బుధవారం రాత్రి గరుడవాహనంపై తిరుమాడ వీధులలో నింపాదిగా ఊరేగుతూ భక్తులందరికీ తన దివ్యమంగళ రూపదర్శనమిస్తాడు. పౌరాణిక నేపథ్యంలో 108 వైష్ణవ దివ్యదేశాలలోనూ గరుడసేవ అత్యంత ప్రాముఖ్యతను సంతరించుకుంది. ఇదేరోజు తిరుమలలో శ్రీవారు శ్రీవిల్లిపుత్తూరు నుండి విచ్చేసిన ప్రత్యేక మాలలు, చెన్నై నుండి వచ్చిన అలంక త ఛత్రాలు స్వామివారి గరుడవాహన సేవకు మరింత శోభను చేకూర్చుతాయి. గరుడవాహనం ద్వారా స్వామివారు దాసానుదాస ప్రపత్తికి తాను దాసుడని తెలియజెబుతారు. అంతేగాక జ్ఞానవైరాగ్య ప్రాప్తికోరే మానవులు జ్ఞానవైరాగ్య రూపాలైన రెక్కలతో విహరించే భగదధిష్టుతుడైన గరుడుని దర్శిస్తే సర్వపాపాలు తొలగుతాయని భక్తకోటికి తెలియజెబుతున్నాడు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టిటిడి కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి శ్రీ అనిల్‌కుమార్‌ సింఘాల్‌, తిరుమల సంయుక్త కార్యనిర్వహణాధి శ్రీకె.యస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు, సివిఎస్‌వో శ్రీ ఆకె రవికృష్ణ ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

కాగా, బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాలలో ఆరో రోజైన గురువారం ఉదయం 9.00 నుండి 11.00 గంటల వరకు హనుమంత వాహనం, సాయంత్రం 5.00 గంటలకు స్వర్ణరథం, రాత్రి 9.00 నుండి 11.00 గంటల వరకు గజ వాహనంపై శ్రీవారు ఊరేగి భక్తులను కటాక్షించనున్నారు.
