ENGINEERING WORKS ON FULL SWING FOR ENSUING BRAHMOTSAVAMS
Tirupati, 8 September 2017: As the annual Srivari Brahmotsavams are fast approaching, the engineering works including civil and electrical are going on a fast pace which will be completed before the stipulated time.
In the civil works front, the barricading, grill gates, entry and exit points in galleries, painting works, white washing, beautification of ghat roads, Rangolis inside and outside temple premises are under progress.
On the other hand, the Electrical wing of TTD is setting up huge supportive wooden arches to place mammoth spiritual characters for the mega religious fete. Several arches are coming up at various places in Tirumala at GNC Toll Gate, adjacent to Vaibhavotsava Mandapam, near Asthana Mandapam, at Museum and 50 more such places.
TTD has allocated about Rs.8crores towards the engineering works for the annual brahmotsavams to add the extra glitz and glamour to the Srivari Brahmotsavams.
The Kalyana Vedika which will be hosting a series of exhibitions including Photo, garden, museum, forest, ayurveda, traditional sculpture etc. is also gearing up for the same.
