Tirupati, Oct 2: The students should follow the path shown by the Father of Nation – Mahatma Gandhi to lead a life of value said TTD EO Sri MG Gopal.
Addressing the employees of TTD in TTD administrative building on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi on Wednesday, the EO said, students should read and know about the biographies of various leaders who sacrificed their lives for nation and who lead a pious life full of ethics. “Not alone the children and youth, but everyone should read the autobiography of Bapuji. He called upon the students to enhance their knowledge by vigorously reading books and prepare for competitive exams and civils.
In his address Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said, not only the ethical values of Mahatma but his typical physical appearance, especially his pure wide smile gives a soothing touch to everyone. “His smile is the identity of his pious life. He practiced the truth and advocated the same all through his life and became immortal in the hearts of people of all ages”, he added.
Speaking on this occasion Tirupati JEO Sri P Venkatrami Reddy said, Gandhi fetched freedom to the country with his principle of Non-Violence and became role model to the entire world.

తిరుపతి, అక్టోబరు 02, 2013: భారత జాతిపిత మహాత్మాగాంధీ జీవితం నేటి తరం యువతీ యువకులకు మార్గదర్శకంగా నిలుస్తుందని తితిదే కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి శ్రీ ఎం.జి.గోపాల్‌ ఉద్ఘాటించారు. తిరుపతిలోని పరిపాలనా భవనంలో తితిదే ఆధ్వర్యంలో మొట్టమొదటిసారిగా గాంధీ జయంతిని బుధవారం ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఈవో ప్రసంగిస్తూ మహాత్ముల గురించి తెలుసుకోవడం వల్ల వారి జీవన విధానాన్ని విద్యార్థినీ విద్యార్థులు అవలంబించే అవకాశం ఉంటుందన్నారు. ప్రతికూల పరిస్థితుల్లో బాధ్యతల నిర్వహణ తెలుస్తుందని వివరించారు. ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ గాంధీజీ ఆత్మకథను చదివి అవగాహన చేసుకోవాలని, ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ నిజాన్ని మాత్రమే పలకాలని సూచించారు. తితిదే విద్యాసంస్థల్లో చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులు జనరల్‌ నాలెడ్జిని పెంచుకుని పోటీ పరీక్షలకు సిద్ధం కావాలని, ఇందుకు పూర్తి సహకారం అందిస్తామని తెలిపారు. అమ్మాయిలకు విద్య అవసరాన్ని వివరిస్తూ ఒక ఆడపిల్లను చదివిస్తే దేశం మొత్తాన్ని చదివించినట్టు అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
అంతకుముందు తితిదే తిరుమల జెఈవో శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు ప్రసంగిస్తూ గాంధీ బోసినవ్వే ఆయన మానసిక పరిపక్వతను తెలియజేస్తుందన్నారు. గాంధీ సిద్ధాంతాలు తనతో పాటు ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఎందరినో ప్రభావితం చేశాయని, ఆయన్ను దేవుడిగా భావిస్తానని తెలిపారు. తిరుపతి జెఈవో శ్రీ పి.వెంకట్రామిరెడ్డి ప్రసంగిస్తూ అహింసా సిద్ధాంతంతో రవి అస్తమించని బ్రిటీష్‌ సామ్రాజ్యాన్ని గడగడలాడించిన ఘనత మహాత్మునికే దక్కిందన్నారు. గాంధీ రచనలను విద్యార్థులు చదివి భవిష్యత్తుకు బంగారు బాటలు వేసుకోవాలని కోరారు. తితిదే ప్రజాసంబంధాల అధికారి శ్రీ టి.రవి వందన సమర్పణ చేశారు.
