Tirumala, August 10: In the wake of heavy pilgrim turnout following series of holidays coupled with weekend holiday, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju inspected the serpentine queue lines in Tirumala on Saturday along with other officials.

Speaking to media persons, he said, in view of the huge influx of pilgrim crowd, TTD has cancelled VIP Break darshan on Sunday morning. “Since the footpath route pilgrims have crossed over 58 thousands in the last two days itself, it is taking almost 19 hours for the Divya Darshan(footpath) pilgrims and 33 hours for Sarva Darshan(free) pilgrims . “Even there is dearth of accommodation as all the cottages have been alloted to pilgrims. The situation is expected to continue for the next two days. The pilgrims are therefore requested to co-operate with the TTD”, he added.

Meanwhile the JEO instructed the different heads including Engineering, Annaprasadam, Health, Vigilance and other departments to be alert round the clock and see that pilgrims are not put inconvenience. He also directed to supply food in queue lines, compartments and in the Annaprasadam complex till late midnight.

భక్తజనసంద్రమైన తిరుమల – ఏర్పాట్లను పరిశీలించిన జె.ఇ.ఓ

వరుస సెలవులు కారణంగా తిరుమల పుణ్యక్షేత్రం భక్తజనసంద్రమైంది. ప్రత్యేకించి వారాంతం కావడంతో తిరుమలకు విచ్చేసే భక్తుల సంఖ్య అనూహ్యంగా పెరిగింది. ముఖ్యంగా కాలినడక యాత్రికుల సంఖ్య సాధారాణ రోజులకన్నా ద్విగుణీకృతమైంది.
తిరుమలకు వెళ్ళే అలిపిరి కాలిబాట మరియు శ్రీవారిమెట్టు కాలిబాటల్లో యాత్రికుల సంఖ్య సాధారణ రోజుల్లో 6000 నుండి 10,000 నడుమ ఉండగా వారాంతపు సెలవు దినాల్లో దాదాపు 15,000 కు చేరుకుంటుంది. అటువంటిది శనివారంనాడు ఈ సంఖ్య 30,000 కు పైగా కావడంతో తిరుమలలో అన్ని మార్గాలు జనసంద్రమైయ్యాయి.
ఏర్పాట్లను పరిశీలించిన జె.ఇ.ఓ ః-

శనివారంనాడు తిరుమలలో అనూహ్యస్థాయిలో పెరిగిన రద్దీ దృష్ట్యా భక్తుల కొరకు తి.తి.దే చేసిన అన్నప్రసాద వితరణ, త్రాగునీటి సౌకర్యం, వైద్య సదుపాయ ఏర్పాట్లను తి.తి.దే తిరుమల జె.ఇ.ఓ శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌. శ్రీనివాసరాజు ప్రత్యక్షంగా పరిశీలించారు. కాలిబాట యాత్రికులు విపరీతంగా పెరిగిపోవడంతో నారాయణగిరి ఉద్యానవనాల్లో అప్పటికప్పుడు కృత్రిమ క్యూలైన్లు ఏర్పాటుచేసి భక్తులను క్రమబద్ధీకరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా జె.ఇ.ఓ మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ వరుస సెలవుల కారణంగా అనూహ్యంగా తిరుమలకు భక్తుల రద్దీ పెరిగిందన్నారు. ఈ కారణంగా ఆదివారంనాడు వి.ఐ.పి బ్రేక్‌ దర్శనాన్ని రద్దు చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. తద్వారా మరో 10 నుండి 15 వేల మంది భక్తులకు శ్రీవారి దర్శనాన్ని కల్పించే అవకాశం ఉంటుందన్నారు. కాగా సర్వదర్శనానికి 33 గంటలు, కాలిబాట దర్శనానికి 19 గంటలు, రూ.300/- దర్శనానికి 4 నుండి 5 గంటల సమయం పడుతున్నదన్నారు. తిరుమలలో దాదాపు అన్ని వసతి గృహాలు భక్తులకు కేటాయించడమైనదన్నారు. ఈ కారణంగా వసతి గృహాల కొరత కూడా తిరుమలలో చోటుచేసుకున్నదన్నారు. భక్తులు కూడా తి.తి.దేకు సహకరించాల్సిందిగా విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
