ONLINE QUOTA SEVA TICKETS TO BE RELEASED ON JUNE 16-TTD EO

Tirumala, 2 June 2017: Owing to soft ware upgradation, the online quota of arjitha Seva tickets for the month of September which are to be released on June 2 will be released on June 16.

After Dial Your EO program, speaking to media persons, the EO said, online dip will be done for premiere arjitha Seva tickets which are limited in number. He said, the five day Kareeristhi Isthi Yagam will conclude on June 2 and expressed his confidence that good showers may occur soon.

Giving the statistics of number of pilgrims who had Darshan, the EO said during last May 23.34 lakhs pilgrims had Darshan while this year it is increased by 3.20lakhs as 26.55 lakhs pilgrims had Darshan of Lord Venkateswara. “Devotees were increased by 8% and our services enhanced by 28%”, he added.

Adding further the EO said, the survey with Srivari Sevakulu in VQC compartments are yielding good results to make necessary improvements. “Recently we have introduced distribution of milk to children in compartments with Srivari Sevakulu. Soon help desks will be arranged in each compartment and also free telephone facility. The display screens to give pilgrim situation status will also be arranged soon in a month’s time in all compartments”, he added.

The EO said, in couple of months the seating capacity in aged and physically challenged waiting hall will be increased. “We have commenced token system for this category of pilgrims to avoid unnecessary waiting. We are also streamlining the advance accommodation booking system in online and upgrading the software”, he maintained.

The TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal expressed immense satisfaction over the working style of all officers in TTD.

Sharing the same with media persons, the EO said, “From the past seventeen days our officers in Tirumala, their staffs under the supervision of Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju have been rendering tremendous services to pilgrims day and night. Almost every day the pilgrim figures are ranging between 85000 to one lakh. Similarly in Tirupati our Jeo Sri P Bhaskar, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy and other officers are also doing their best in their respective areas”, he maintained.

The EO also thanked the pilgrim devout for their patience in spite of heavy rush, the employees for their team work and VIPs for co-operating with TTD and not entertaining recommendation letters during the peak rush period.
