Tirupati, February 7: Security guards are brand ambassadors of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) who have the responsibility to maintain the prestige of the hoary religious shrine and earn respect and good will of devotees.
This was declared by TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri P Venkatarami Reddy at the valedictory session of first batch of training for security guards of the Temple administration held at the SVETA complex in Tirupati on Thursday.
The first batch of 50 home guards and security personnel of TTD underwent a four day training programme in behavior towards pilgrims, awareness on TTD Acts, ISI terrorism, Bomb diffusion and alert imparted by experts from Intelligence, Forensic, Bomb squad and CCTV divisions of AP police. Thirty other batches will undergo similar training throughout the year, said Sri GVG Ashok Kumar, the Chief Vigilance and Security officer of TTD.
He said it was the sacred duty of all security personnel of TTD at Tirumala and Tirupati to provide fool proof protection to pilgrims at temples, foot path, public areas in town and the hillock to ensure their safety and pleasant cum incident free stay in the temple town and shrine.
Addl CVSO Sri Shivkumar Reddy, SVETA Director Dr. K Ramakrishna and PRO Sri T Ravi participated in the function.

తిరుపతి, ఫిబ్రవరి 07, 2013: తిరుమల శ్రీవారి దర్శనార్థం దేశ విదేశాల నుండి వచ్చే భక్తులకు భద్రత కల్పించడం నిఘా, భద్రతా సిబ్బంది ముఖ్య బాధ్యతని తితిదే తిరుపతి సంయుక్త కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి శ్రీ పి.వెంకట్రామిరెడ్డి అన్నారు. మొదటి బ్యాచ్‌లోని 50 మంది తితిదే నిఘా, భద్రతా సిబ్బందికి తిరుపతిలోని శ్వేత భవనంలో నాలుగు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించిన శిక్షణ తరగతుల ముగింపు కార్యక్రమం గురువారం సాయంత్రం జరిగింది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరైన తిరుపతి జెఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ భద్రతా సిబ్బంది ఈ శిక్షణతో నైపుణ్యాన్ని పెంచుకుని కర్తవ్యాన్ని నిర్వహించాలన్నారు. సిబ్బంది భక్తులతో ప్రవర్తించే విధానంపైనే తితిదే గౌరవం ఆధారపడి ఉందన్నారు. ఒక విధంగా సెక్యూరిటీ సిబ్బంది దేవస్థానానికి బ్రాండ్‌ అంబాసిడర్లు అన్నారు. శ్రీవారి ఆలయంతో పాటు భక్తులకు రక్షణ కల్పించేందుకు శక్తి వంచన లేకుండా కృషి చేయాలని ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన కోరారు. రక్షణ వ్యవస్థలోని అధునాతన పద్ధతులను అవగాహన చేసుకోవడం ద్వారా అవాంఛనీయ సంఘటనలు జరగకుండా అరికట్టవచ్చన్నారు.
తితిదే ముఖ్య నిఘా మరియు భద్రతాధికారి శ్రీ జివిజి.అశోక్‌కుమార్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ తితిదేలోని పర్మినెంటు, ప్రయివేటు సెక్యూరిటీ గార్డులు, హోంగార్డులకు కలిపి మొత్తం 1400 మంది ఉన్నారని, వీరిని 30 బ్యాచ్‌లుగా విభజించి శిక్షణ ఇస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. ఇందుకోసం హైదరాబాదు నుండి ఇంటెలిజెన్స్‌ అధికారులు, సిసి కెమెరాల నిపుణులను రప్పించి మెళకువలు నేర్పిస్తున్నట్టు వివరించారు. శిక్షణ తరగతుల్లో నేర్చుకున్న అంశాలను రోజువారీ విధుల్లో ఆచరణలో పెట్టాలని, అప్పుడే సత్ఫలితాలు వస్తాయని ఆయన తెలిపారు.
అనంతరం శిక్షణలో భాగంగా నిర్వహించిన పరీక్షల్లో ప్రతిభ కనబరిచిన సెక్యూరిటీ గార్డులకు బహుమతులు, శిక్షణ తరగతుల్లో పాల్గొన్న సిబ్బంది ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రాలు అందజేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో తితిదే అదనపు సివిఎస్‌వో శ్రీ శివకుమార్‌రెడ్డి, విజిఓ శ్రీ హనుమంతు, రిటైర్డ్‌ డీఎస్పీ శ్రీ నారాయణస్వామి ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
