RATHOTSAVAM MARKS GRANDEUR OF GODDESS OF WEALTH

Tiruchanur, 15 December 2015: On the penultimate day of Navahnika Brahmotsavams, the Goddess of Wealth, Padmavathi Devi took a celestial ride on the mighty wooden chariot in the four mada streets of the temple town of Tiruchanoor with elan.

The chariot yatra commenced by 8:34am in the auspicious Vrischika Lagnam in Tiruchanoor and lasted upto 11am with people of all ages competing to pull the massive chariot on which Goddess is gracefully seated on Tuesday morning.

The devotees who thronged to see the massive chariot pull recited the names of Goddess Padmavathi and Lord Govinda which echoed in the premises.
