RECORD DIRECT LINE FOR DARSHAN DURING BRAHMOTSAAM SAYS TEMPLE DyEO C RAMANA
Tirumala, 23 September 2015: TTD has succeed in providing darshan to over 4.57 lakh devotees during the seven days of Salakatla Brahmotsavams and also sold 3 lakh laddus every day says Deputy Executive officer( Temple ) Sri Chinnamgari Ramana.
He said the strategy and planning of the EO Dr D Sambashiv Rao to clear all the queues on a daily basis had paid dividends.’ So the queue lines were almost direct lines to Gods darshan during this Brahmotsavams “, he said.
The DEO said the TTD had followed the directions of the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu to ensure more comforts and benefits to the common man than the VIPs.’ We had reduced the VIP breaks to just 30 minutes and the same strategy will be followed during the next Brahmotsavam also, he added.
Speaking to reporters at the Media Center Sri Ramana said there was absolutely no short fall of Laddus as a record buffer stock of 8 lakh laddus were kept for Brahmotsavams .’Every devotee got what ever laddus he wanted, five each for those in Vaikuntham queue, four each for those in foot paths, and four laddus also for the devotees on Rs.300 tickets”.
The Deputy EO said that the darshan of devotees at the Srivari Temple during Brahmotsavams had been increasing over years -at 3.29 lakh in 2013, 4.76 in 2014 and now as of six days 4.57 lakh during the current Brahmotsavam. ‘A record of 44,000 devotees had darshan on first day and 89,000 on the peratasi Saturday (September 19) ‘ he said.
