Tirumala, 20 May 2018: The ultimate goal of every one working in TTD is to safeguard the interests of rich tradition, ancient heritage of the temple and to satisfy all the pilgrims with hassle free darshan and other amenities to our best possible extent”, asserted TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.
Reacting to the recent allegations made by one of the former Pradhana Archakas of Sri Tirumala temple Sri A V Ramana Dikshitulu on TTD, the EO along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju held a press conference at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Sunday. Some excerpts:
* Referring the reports of Justice Wadhwa Committee EO said, as per the Jewel records available with TTD, Justice Wadhwa Committee in its report stated that all the jewels are maintained properly and all items are clearly recorded in Tiruvabharanam register. He said the committee also stated that even the broken pieces of stones are preserved as “Mulles” (pieces of stones tied in a piece of cloth) are also mentioned in the register which clearly shows the transparency of the Jewel record.
* EO also said, the committee report stated that all the jewels donated to Lord Venkateswara are in tact. He strongly opined that “TTD is ready even for public display of jewels amidst tight security cover to clear the air surrounding safety of jewels, if the Agama advisers permits to do so”.
* He elaborated on the pink diamond which is said to have broken during Brahmotsava Garuda Seva in 2001, later gone “missing” as alleged by Sri AV Ramana Deekshitulu. The EO also said that, on this issue also Justice Jagannadha Rao committee has submitted a report which stated that the broken pieces of the Pink stone are available in the custody of peishkar. The Jewel was donated by Maharaja of Mysore in 1945 and the price of the ruby was valued at Rs.50. The then EO of TTD Sri IYR Krishna Rao has also submitted a report to the then State Government in 2010, stating that the broken piece was a ruby and not that of a “Pink Diamond”, he added.
*EO also clarified that the retirement age for Archakas at 65years, is a decision taken as per GOs Nos.1171 and 611 and not with vengeance on anybody. “Our (officers) job chart is to take care of the pilgrims and their amenities, while that of the religious staffs is to safeguard the rich tradition and ancient rituals of the temple. Even the Nitya puja and Darshan system also were established in Tirumala temple based on the report submitted by New Management Committee on March 1 in 1979. If the Agamas permit we are even ready live telecast the arjitha sevas performed to Lord for the sake of pilgrim public”, he informed.
* On the repairs and alteration works of potu taken up recently inside the temple, the EO said, from time to time, it requires small changes keeping in view the larger interests of pilgrims. Even in 2001 and 2007 also some repair works were taken up in Potu. Whenever we contemplate some alterations inside temple, we approach our Agama advisers for their opinion. We had consulted, Agama Advisor Sri NAK Sunderavaradan, Sri HH Pedda Jiyar Swamy and even Sri AV Ramana Deekshitulu, who have given their consent to take forward the repair works.
* EO reiterated that the ultimate goal of every one working in TTD is to safeguard the interests of rich tradition of the temple and instill confidence among the multitude of pilgrims with our impeccable services. “Our motto is to satisfy all the pilgrims with hassle free darshan and other amenities to our best”, he asserted.

శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వర స్వామివారికి ప్రతిరోజూ శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ పెద్ద జీయంగార్‌, శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ చిన్న జీయంగార్‌ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఆగమోక్తంగా కైంకర్యాలు, ఆర్జితసేవలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నామని ఈవో తెలిపారు. భక్తులకు అనుమానం వచ్చేలా శ్రీ రమణదీక్షితులు మాట్లాడం తగదన్నారు. 1952వ సంవత్సరంలో శ్రీవారి ఆభరణాలు టిటిడి ఆధీనంలోకి వచ్చినప్పటినుండి భద్రంగా ఉన్నాయన్నారు. ఆభరణాలు సురక్షితంగా ఉన్నాయని జస్టిస్‌ వాద్వా, జస్టిస్‌ జగన్నాథరావు కమిటీలు నివేదికలు కూడా సమర్పించినట్టు వివరించారు. ఆగమసలహా మండలి ఆమోదిస్తే ఆభరణాలను పటిష్ట భద్రత నడుమ భక్తుల సందర్శనకు ఉంచుతామని, శ్రీవారి ఆర్జిత సేవలను సైతం ప్రత్యక్షప్రసారం చేస్తామని వ్యక్తిగత అభిప్రాయంగా ఈవో చెప్పారు.
2001, అక్టోబరు 21న జరిగిన బ్రహ్మోత్సవ గరుడసేవనాడు శ్రీమలయప్పస్వామివారికి అలంకరించిన ఆభరణంలోని కెంపురాయి, భక్తులు నాణేలు విసరడంతో పగిలిపోయిందని, ఈ విషయాన్ని తిరువాభరణం రిజిస్టర్‌లో నమోదు చేశారని ఈవో అన్నారు. అయితే పింక్‌ డైమండ్‌(కెంపు) కనిపించకుండాపోయిందని శ్రీ రమణదీక్షితులు చేసిన ఆరోపణలో వాస్తవం లేదన్నారు. ఈ విషయంపై జస్టిస్‌ జగన్నాథరావు ఇచ్చిన కమిటీ నివేదికలో పగిలిన కెంపు ముక్కలు పేష్కార్‌ ఆధీనంలో ఉన్నాయని తెలియజేసినట్టు చెప్పారు. ఈ ఆభరణాన్ని 1945లో మైసూర్‌ మహారాజవారు శ్రీవారికి కానుకగా అందించారని, అప్పట్లో ఈ ఆభరణంలోని కెంపు విలువ రూ.50/-గా నిర్ధారించినట్టు రికార్డులు ఉన్నాయన్నారు. ఇదే విషయంపై 2010వ సంవత్సరంలో అప్పటి టిటిడి కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి అయిన శ్రీఐవైఆర్‌ కృష్ణారావు అప్పటి ప్రభుత్వానికి నివేదిక సమర్పించారని, పగిలిపోయినది కెంపు మాత్రమేనని, పింక్‌ డైమండ్‌ కాదని ఇందులో స్పష్ట్ణం చేశారని తెలియజేశారు.
జి.వో.ఎం.ఎస్‌.నెం.1171, తేదీ: 16-12-1987, జి.వో.నెం.611, తేదీ : 16-10-2012 ప్రకారం అర్చకుల పదవీ విరమణ వయోపరిమితిని 65 సంవత్సరాలుగా ఇటీవల జరిగిన టిటిడి ధర్మకర్తల మండలి సమావేశంలో నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్టు ఈవో తెలిపారు. ఈ విషయంలో ఎవరిపైనా కక్ష సాధింపు లేదన్నారు. వయోపరిమితి కింద తొలగించిన వారి వారసులనే తిరిగి ప్రధానార్చకులుగా టిటిడి నియమించిందన్నారు. ఇటీవల పోటు మరమ్మతులకు సంబంధించి ఆగమసలహాదారులు శ్రీ ఎన్‌.ఎ.కె.సుందరవరదన్‌, తిరుమల శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ పెద్ద జీయ్యంగార్‌తోపాటు శ్రీ రమణదీక్షితులను కూడా ముందుగా సంప్రదించినట్టు చెప్పారు. 2001, 2007వ సంవత్సరాల్లోనూ పోటులో మరమ్మతులు చేపట్టినట్టు వివరించారు.
శ్రీవారి కైంకర్యాలను ఆగమశాస్త్రబద్ధంగా నిర్వహించడం, భక్తులకు మెరుగైన సౌకర్యాలు కల్పించడమే పరమావధిగా తాము విధులు నిర్వహిస్తున్నామని ఈవో తెలిపారు. రాబోయే రోజుల్లో అందరి సలహాలు తీసుకుని టిటిడి ప్రతిష్టను మరింత పెంచుతామన్నారు.
