SAINT THAYAGARAJA JAYANTHI ON APRIL 21st AT TIRUMALA_ ఏప్రిల్‌ 21న తిరుమలలో శ్రీత్యాగరాజస్వామి జయంతి
Tirumala, 20 April 2018 :The 251st Jayanthi of saint-Balladeer Sri Thyagarajaswami is being organised at Tirumala on April 21st Saturday.
It is conducted jointly under the aegis of HDPP and SV Music and Dance College as part of the TTD practice to celebrate the birth and death anniversaries of well known Hindu saints,singers and balladeers.
The celebrations will begin in evening at the Kalyana vedika on the Papavinasam road of Tirumala. Nearly 400 artists from Andhra Pradesh,Telangana,Tamilnadu,Karnataka,Kerala will participate in the festival of sankeertanas and Divya Nama keertanas performed before the idols of Sri Sitarama Lakshmana, Hanuman and the Panchaloha idol of Sri Thyagarajaswami.
Lead by the TTD asthana vidwan Sri Garimella Balakrishna Prasad and the students and teachers of SV Music and Dance college hundreds of exponents of karnatatic music will participate in the feast of music and sankeertans on that day at Tirumala.

ఏప్రిల్‌ 20, తిరుమల 2018: ప్రపంచ ప్రసిద్ధిగాంచిన తెలుగు వాగ్గేయకారుడు శ్రీత్యాగరాజస్వామివారి 251వ జయంతి మహోత్సవం టిటిడి హిందూ ధర్మప్రచార పరిషత్‌, ఎస్వీ సంగీత, నృత్య కళాశాల సంయుక్త ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఏప్రిల్‌ 21న శనివారం తిరుమలలో ఘనంగా జరుగనుంది. ధర్మప్రచారంలో భాగంగా ప్రముఖ వాగ్గేయకారుల జయంతి, వర్ధంతి మహోత్సవాలను టిటిడి నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంది.
తిరుమలలోని పాపవినాశనం రోడ్డులో గల కల్యాణవేదికలో సాయంత్రం 6 గంటలకు ఈ కార్యక్రమం ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. శ్రీ సీతారామలక్ష్మణ హనుమంతుల విగ్రహాలు, శ్రీత్యాగరాజ స్వామివారి పంచలోహ విగ్రహం సమక్షంలో దక్షిణాదిలోని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌, తెలంగాణ, తమిళనాడు, కర్ణాటక, కేరళ రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన దాదాపు 400 మంది కళాకారులు పాల్గొని శ్రీ త్యాగరాజస్వామి వారి పంచరత్న కృతులు, ఉత్సవ సంప్రదాయ కీర్తనలు, దివ్యనామ సంకీర్తనలను ఆలపిస్తారు. టిటిడి అస్థాన విద్వాంసులు శ్రీ గరిమెళ్ల బాలకృష్ణప్రసాద్‌, ప్రపంచ ప్రసిద్ధిగాంచిన ప్రముఖ సంగీత విద్వాంసులు, ఎస్వీ సంగీత కళాశాల అధ్యాపకులు, విద్యార్థులు, స్థానిక, స్థానికేతర కళాకారులు పాల్గొంటారు.
