SILPIS INIVITED FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF 1000-PILLAR STONE MANDAPAM

Tirumala, 25 February 2016: The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has been inviting interested contractors or firms to be a part in the re-construction of the historical 1000-pillar stone mandapam in Narayanagiri Gardens at Tirumala and for which the tender due date is 1st March 2016.

The 1000-pillar mandapam had a history of over 650 years and the TTD Trust Board has resolved to re-construct this structure in Narayanagiri Gardens and the cost is estimated to be Rs.18 crores. The board has also approved the designs for the structure.

The interested contractors(Silpi/sculptor) who have special experience in ornamental stone and sudai works can participate in this propitious construction.
