SRI KRT GEARS UP FOR ASTABANDHANA MAHA SAMPROKSHANAM

Tirupati, 6 June 2017: The religious fete of Astabandhana Maha Samprokshanam in the famous temple of Sri Kodandaramalayam in Tirupati will be observed from June 12 to 16 for five days.

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal along with Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar released the posters related to the religious event in his chambers in Tirupati on Tueday. Temple DyEO Smt Munilakshmi was also present.

As a part of this fete there will be no Darshan on June 14 and 15 while on first day on June 12, Senadhipathi Utsavam, Mritsangrahanam and Ankurarpanam will be performed. On June 13 the devotees will be allowed for Darshan up to 6pm only. Later follows Agni Pratistha, Kumbha Sthapana and other Vedic programs will be performed in Yagashala.

On June 16 Maha Samprokshanam will be performed between 6am and 7:30am. On the same day evening, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam will be performed between 5pm to 7pm. Later follows procession of deities on Pedda Sesha Vahanam.
