Tirumala, 26 September 2017: Sanitation and hygiene have been given top priority in the run up to Garuda seva event and we believe that “Swachta Eva Rakshite” said Health Officer of TTD, Dr Sermista.

Briefing newsmen at the media center on the activities of health department Dr Sermista said that nearly 2600 sanitary workers have been deployed for clearance of garbage, cleaning toilets, roads, four mada streets and also rest houses for Garuda Seva and Rathotsavam.

“Our mission is to live up to the reputation of Tirumala as a Swatch icon and we have made arrangements accordingly”, the HO said.

Adding further she said nearly four lakh water packets were kept ready for distribution along the mada street galleries.”Apart from this our Food inspectors will inspect the hotels and check the quality of food available to ensure against spread of any infectious diseases, she said.

సెప్టెంబర్‌ 26, తిరుమల 2017: పరిసరాలను పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉంచుకున్నప్పుడే వ్యాధులు రాకుండా మనల్ని మనం రక్షించుకోగలుగుతామని టిటిడి ఆరోగ్యశాఖాధికారి డా|| శర్మిష్ట తెలిపారు. శ్రీవారి సాలకట్ల బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాలకు విచ్చేస్తున్న భక్తుల ఆరోగ్యాన్ని ద ష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని 2600 మంది సిబ్బంది మూడు షిప్టుల్లో నిరంతరాయంగా పనిచేసి తిరుమలలో పరిశుభ్రతకు పెద్దపీట వేస్తున్నామని వెల్లడించారు. తిరుమలలోని రాంభగీచా-2లో గల మీడియా సెంటర్‌లో మంగళవారం ఆమె విలేకరుల సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ గరుడసేవ నాడు 4 లక్షల తాగునీటి ప్యాకెట్లు భక్తులకు అందిస్తామన్నారు. పరిశుభ్రత చర్యల కోసం 3200 మంది సిబ్బందిని అందుబాటులో ఉంచినట్టు తెలిపారు. నిర్దేశిత ప్రాంతాల్లోని చెత్తకుండీల్లో మాత్రమే భక్తులు చెత్తను పడేసి టిటిడికి సహకరించాలని కోరారు. గ్యాలరీల్లోని భక్తులకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా మాడవీధుల్లో మొత్తం 29 మరుగుదొడ్లను సిద్ధంగా ఉంచామన్నారు. దూరప్రాంతాల భక్తులు ఎక్కువరోజులు నిల్వ ఉంచిన ఆహారపదార్థాలను తీసుకోరాదని సూచించారు. గరుడసేవనాడు 100 టన్నుల చెత్త పోగయ్యే అవకాశముందని, ఎప్పటికప్పుడు తరలిచేందుకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేపడతామన్నారు.
