TTD’s ”BILLA” GETS STATE MEDAL _ తితిదే ‘బిల్లా’కు కాంస్య పతకం
TIRUPATI, MAY 4: One more feather added in the cap of the world’s renowned religious organisation of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD), but this time in the form of a canine-“Billa”winning a state medal in the police duty competitions and has been felicitated by TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam in Tirupati on Saturday.
This one and a half year old canine which has been doing commendable services in the narcotics department in which it has been specially tranied and maintained joinly by TTD and Tirupati Urban police departments, stood third in “sniffers” and won bronze medal in AP police duty meet competions that were recently held at Kakinada. This sniffer dog has also been selected for National Police Duty meet competitions which are scheduled to take place soon.
TTD EO felicitated both its handler, ARP constable Sri Muruga and the police dog Billa in his chambers at TTD Administrative building in Tirupati.
CVSO Sri GVG Ashok Kumar, Urban SP Sri Rajasekhar and others were also present.

తిరుపతి, మే 4, 2013: తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానం, తిరుపతి అర్బన్‌ జిల్లా పోలీసు శాఖ సంయుక్త ఆధ్వర్యంలో బిల్లా అనే పేరుతో విధులు నిర్వహిస్తున్న పోలీసు జాగిలం రాష్ట్రస్థాయి పోలీస్‌ డ్యూటీమీట్‌లో కాంస్య పతకం సాధించింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా తితిదే కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి శ్రీ ఎల్వీ సుబ్రమణ్యం శనివారం తిరుపతిలోని తితిదే పరిపాలనా భవనంలో గల తన ఛాంబర్‌లో ఈ పోలీసు జాగిలాన్ని, దీని సంరక్షకుడు ఏఆర్‌పి కానిస్టేబుల్‌ మురుగను సన్మానించారు. నగదు బహుమతి కూడా అందజేశారు.
ఒకటిన్నర సంవత్సరం వయసు గల ఈ పోలీసు జాగిలం ఇటీవల కాకినాడలో జరిగిన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ పోలీస్‌ డ్యూటీమీట్‌ పోటీల్లో పాల్గొంది. నార్కోటిక్స్‌ పదార్థాలను గుర్తించడంలో మూడో స్థానంలో నిలిచింది. ఇందులో గెలుపొందడం ద్వారా త్వరలో జాతీయస్థాయిలో జరుగనున్న పోలీస్‌ డ్యూటీమీట్‌లో పాల్గొనేందుకు అర్హత సాధించింది.
