UGADI ASTHANAM INSIDE SRIVARI TEMPLE

Tirumala, 31 March 2014: Splendour and gaiety marked `Ugadi’ festival at the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara, Tirumala on Monday.

Special rituals like – visesha padi procession and visesha nuthana vastrams procession was performed inside the Vimana prakaram of the temple complex followed by the auspicious `Panchanga Sravanam’ to the processional deities of Lord Malayapa and his consorts atop Sarvabhoopala Vahanam in Bangaru vakili, in front of the presiding deity, by the temple priests.

TTD Chairman Sri K.Bapi Raju, TTD Executive Officer Sri MG Gopal, Sri  Chinta Mohan, M.P, Joint Executive Officers Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri Pola, C.V&S.O Sri G Srinivas, Supdt of Police Sri Rajasekhar Babu, DyEO(Temple) Sri Chinnamagari Ramana, Peishkar Sri Selvam and others were present.
