Tirumala, 16 October 2026: The Navaratri Brahmotsavams in Tirumala has become a platform to display India’s richest and vibrant cultural heritage as 31 art troupes from 17 states, featuring 863 artistes, presented captivating displays of traditional dance, music and folk art on Friday evening during Garuda Seva.
Their performances enhanced the spiritual atmosphere.
Jammu and Kashmir’s soulful Dogri rhythms, Delhi and Jharkhand’s powerful Chhau dance, Assam’s devotional Sattriya, Arunachal Pradesh’s graceful Emirolo and Sikkim’s melodious Tamang Selo brought the rich artistic traditions of the North and Northeast to the divine procession.
While West Bengal’s lyrical Kathak added classical elegance, while Maharashtra’s energetic Lezim infused the Mada streets with rhythm and vigour.
Madhya Pradesh presented a colourful tribal folk dance, showcasing the enduring vitality of India’s heartland traditions. Similarly
Rajasthan’s graceful Ghoomar lent a regal touch to the celebrations.
Swirling skirts, rhythmic claps and elegant movements reflected the festive grandeur and cultural richness of the desert state.
Karnataka’s thunderous Dollu Kunitha, Kerala’s majestic Samudra Manthanam dance ballet and the enchanting Mohiniyattam added exceptional grace and grandeur to the occasion.
Andhra Pradesh artistic legacy was showcased through the spirited Tappetagullu of Srikakulam, the tribal Kommukoya dance of Bhadrachalam and the devotional Chekka Bhajana of Vijayawada.
The artistes showcased their talents braving incessant rains and mused the devotees.

తిరుపతి, 2026 అక్టోబరు 16: తిరుమల, అక్టోబరు 16: తిరుమల శ్రీవారి నవరాత్రి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో అత్యంత విశిష్టమైన గరుడ వాహనసేవ సందర్భంగా శుక్రవారం రాత్రి తిరుమాడ వీధులు జాతీయ సాంస్కృతిక వైభవంతో అలరారాయి. దేశంలోని 17 రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన 31 కళాబృందాల 863 మంది కళాకారులు సంప్రదాయ నృత్యాలు, జానపద కళలు, సంగీత వాద్య ప్రదర్శనలతో భక్తులను మంత్రముగ్ధులను చేశారు.
భారీ వర్షంలోనూ అప్రతిహతంగా కళా ప్రదర్శనలు
మధ్యాహ్నం నుంచి కురుస్తున్న భారీ వర్షాన్ని సైతం లెక్కచేయకుండా కళాకారులు ఉత్సాహంగా ప్రదర్శనలు కొనసాగించారు. వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయాలు, శాస్త్రీయ నృత్యరీతులు, జానపద కళారూపాలను ఆవిష్కరిస్తూ తిరుమాడ వీధుల్లో భక్తి సంబరాలను నింపారు.
భిన్న కళారూపాలతో భారతీయ సంస్కృతి పరిమళం
జమ్మూ కాశ్మీర్‌కు చెందిన డోగ్రీ నృత్యం, ఢిల్లీ, జార్ఖండ్‌లకు చెందిన వీరోచిత ఛౌ నృత్యం, అస్సాంకు చెందిన భక్తిరసభరిత సత్రియా నృత్యం, పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్‌కు చెందిన కథక్, అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్‌కు చెందిన ఎమిరొల్లో నృత్యం, సిక్కింకు చెందిన తమంగ్ సేలో ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచాయి.
మహారాష్ట్ర లెజిమ్ నృత్యం, మధ్యప్రదేశ్ గిరిజన జానపద కళలు, రాజస్థాన్ ఘూమర్ నృత్యం, కర్ణాటక డొల్లుకుంట నృత్యం, కేరళ క్షీరసాగర మథనం నృత్యరూపకం, మోహినియాట్టం ప్రదర్శనలు ప్రేక్షకులను విశేషంగా ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి.
తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల జానపద కళలకు భక్తజన నీరాజనం
శ్రీకాకుళం కళాకారుల వీరోచిత తప్పెటగుళ్లు, భద్రాచలం ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన ఆదివాసీ సంస్కృతిని ప్రతిబింబించే కొమ్ముకోయ నృత్యం, విజయవాడ కళాకారుల చెక్క భజనలు భక్తులను అలరించాయి.
డోళ్ల మోతలు, గజ్జెల రవళులు, శంఖనాదాలు, భక్తిగీతాల నడుమ సాగిన ప్రదర్శనలు తిరుమాడ వీధుల్లో ఆధ్యాత్మిక శోభను మరింత ఇనుమడింపజేశాయి.

శ్రీవారి గరుడోత్సవం ఆధ్యాత్మిక వైభవంతో పాటు భారతదేశంలోని విభిన్న సంస్కృతులు, సంప్రదాయాల సమ్మేళనానికి వేదికగా నిలిచింది. వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల కళాకారులు ఒకే వేదికపై తమ కళాప్రతిభను చాటడం ద్వారా ‘ఏక్ భారత్ – శ్రేష్ఠ భారత్’ స్ఫూర్తిని చాటారు.
